Hi, I’m Kelli! Words are kinda my thing. I say them, I write them, I read them. Lots. Hope and joy are two of my very favorite words, and when my writing or speaking can bring hope and joy to others, my heart is full.
My greatest hope and joy are found in my relationship with Jesus. He is my strength and my Savior. Over the years I have learned much about healing, forgiveness, wholeness, and love as I have grown in my relationship with Him. That relationship has been built on a daily habit of reading His Word.
Many people have helped me learn and heal during this journey as well. My favorite people are my husband Rich, and our kiddos, Wesley and Bailey. Rich and I are third grade teachers in our little mountain town. Rich coaches cross country, teaches kids at church, and does whatever it takes to take care of all of us. Wesley is a senior in high school. He runs cross country and track and is just beginning his journey as a volunteer fire fighter. Bailey is a sophomore in high school. She is a voracious reader, writer, and artist.
In addition to words, I enjoy Bible journaling, paper crafting, University of Kentucky basketball, and listening to the water rush down the mountains. Traveling to see my friends has quickly become one of my favorite activities.
This life we live is hard. It is full of pitfalls, obstacles, and pain. It is also full of beauty, laughter, and joy. My goal is to guide my readers to hold on to hope through the hard stuff, until they can get to the good stuff. I pray that by sharing my journey I can encourage you in your own.
